A park that was closed for three years for construction of Branson Landing has re-opened. Michele Skalicky reports.

The Branson area has one of its parks back. North Beach Park had been around for many years when it was closed 3 years ago for construction of Branson Landing. Part of the park was used for the retail project and construction trailers were housed next to the park. North Beach reopened about 2 weeks ago, and an official reopening will be held tonight.

Branson city spokesman Jerry Adams says those who have fond memories of North Beach Park before Branson Landing shouldn't be disappointed with the newly-reopened park

Adams says the park's close proximity to Branson Landing makes it a nice respite for shoppers

City crews have been busy the past several months restoring and improving the park for public use once again.

A ribbon cutting ceremony to officially re-open the park will begin today at 5 at the south end of the park next to the Branson Landing parking lot.
