Passport to Healthy Living Celebration Set for this Weekend

City of Springfield

If you took part in the Passport to Healthy Living program over the summer, you’re invited to a party this weekend.  The Passport to Healthy Living Party will be held Saturday morning (8/22) from 10 to noon at Mediacom Ice Park.  Anyone with a completed passport will be able to skate for free—the first 100 party goers will receive free skate rental, too—and they’ll be entered into a drawing for a digital tablet donated by AARP of Springfield and other prizes.

A news release from the City of Springfield says it’s not too late to get a passport and go on a community-wide treasure hunt.  The clues on each page of the passport will lead you to a different, free activity or site in Springfield that promotes physical and mental health.
