For two longtime Missouri State University employees, it’s time for retirement. KSMU's Rebekah Clark has details.
Earle Doman, who works as the Vice President for Student Affairs, helped develop the Citizen Scholar Award and led the upgrading of residence life facilities on campus. And Julie Ebersold, who is the Executive Director of Alumni Relations, worked in the alumni office for 36 years.
According to a press release from MSU, Doman calls the school a “special place.” Many of his family members, including his three sons, graduated from the school.
Doman helped facilitate the grand opening of the Foster Family Recreation Center, and helped the school become recognized for its civic learning and democratic engagement.
Ebersold became director of alumni relations in 1984. During her time at MSU, the alumni association grew to where it presently stands, at over 100,000 graduates and former students.
The search for Ebersold’s position will begin immediately. Doman’s retirement is effective May 1.
