Managing Springfield's Storm Water

In this episode of Making Democracy Work, Debbie Good speaks with Carrie Lamb, Water Quality Coordinator with the City of Springfield's Storm Water Quality Division. 

Lamb discusses how storm water can negatively effect effect the community, and how the city works to manage excess storm water and pollutants. Methods of mimicking nature to better handle runoff are explained, as well as how storm water management has evolved over the years.

Also discussed are methods individuals and businesses can take to improve water quality and storm water management.
