Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the Ozarks Film Foundry invites all film industry professionals to join in the September social mixer.

At 6:30 p.m., immediately after, the film screening program begins. This month, the Ozarks Film Foundry is featuring FILMMAKERS ON FILMMAKING.

First up is a group of award-winning SATO48 filmmakers and their teams, who will screen a film they've made during competition, and afterward they will share their stories about the making of their films. There will be tales of trials and tribulations. This is chance to meet local filmmakers and gain some insight into the making of films, quickly, and the SATO48 contest, which is held annually.

Immediately afterward, the Ozarks Film Foundry will proudly present Les Blank's documentary film BURDEN OF DREAMS, which is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of one of the most challenging films ever by one of world's greatest directors of cinema, Werner Herzog.

This film screening open to the public at large and FREE. Donations will be welcome, to defray the cost of the movie licensing from the distributor, and to help fund next month's screening. Concessions will be available for purchase using cash or debit card.
