Springfield Little Theatre will host audition for Sweeney Todd on on January 5 and 6 at the Landers Theatre.

Dark, thrilling, and musically unmatched SWEENEY TODD is one of the most electrifying works in modern musical theatre, and Springfield Little Theatre will bring it to life this March. Set in the shadows of Victorian London, this chilling masterpiece weaves a story of injustice, vengeance, and unexpected relish (sometimes literally).

Featuring one of Stephen Sondheim’s most powerful and challenging scores, this production demands strong storytelling, fearless performers, and vocal excellence. Whether you are a seasoned artist ready to sink your teeth into a leading role or an ensemble powerhouse eager to help build the eerie world of Fleet Street, this workshop and audition experience will prepare you for an unforgettable production.

This production will be led by the dynamic team of Joanie Garner DiPrizio (Director & Choreographer) and Quenton Ellis (Music Director), combining visionary storytelling with exceptional musical leadership.
