Music Monday of The Ozarks

Music Monday of The Ozarks

On Monday September 11th,2023,

Music Monday of the Ozarks will host musician Eddie Gumucio on September 11 at the Springfield Elks Lodge.

Gumucio was born in Kansas City, raised in La Paz, Bolivia and grew up in the Queen City of the Ozarks. He has called Springfield home for over 40 years. It is the home of both his mother, her parents and Gumucio can trace a lineage to the area and Missouri dating back to the early 1800s.
He is a devoted husband, father and educator with a passion for music, travel, gastronomy and the outdoors.

As an artist, Eddie Gumucio is known for his introspective folk-pop and worldly perspective. He has built a reputation as a critically-acclaimed and perennially reliable singer/songwriter.

Performing and recording for just now over 27 years, he is the former front man for Michyksaseal and is still active on the scene as both a solo artist and with his band The Electrics.

Outside of his passion for singing, writing and performing, Gumucio is also the founder and organizer of the Queen City Shout music, film and art festival.
