Adults are invited to attend Haunting Ozarks Tales & Ghost Stories at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the Library Center auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

The storied history of the Ozarks, with its remote hollers and haunting ghost towns, has long inspired tales of specters and strange characters, from ghostly brides to devilish Bald knobbers. Join local artists, including Sandi Green-Baker and Andrew Baker-Dietz, for a multi-media evening featuring ghostly tales, folk ballads and crankies — a century-old storytelling tradition using music, theatrics and art. This Oh, the Horror! event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
