Genealogy Program: North Carolina Land Grants

Genealogy Program: North Carolina Land Grants

The Ozarks Genealogical Society will meet for a presentation on North Carolina Land Grants May 1 at 7pm at the OGS Library.

Did your ancestors live in or pass through North Carolina? Land grants by North Carolina may establish your ancestor's location in either North Carolina or Tennessee. Records may exist even if someone simply applied for a grant but never received it or sold the rights to someone else. David McCorkle is the founder of the website North Carolina Land Grant Images and Data (nclandgrants.com) making accessing these important records easier than ever before. David will demonstrate navigating the website.

Attendance Options:

In person at the OGS Library. 534 W. Catalpa St., Springfield, Missouri, and members will receive a Zoom link by email. No registration is required.
