The American Indian Center of Springfield and Missouri State University will host the 2nd annual Honoring Our Veterans Pow-Wow for Native American Heritage Month at Greenwood Laboratory School.

Color Guard: Comanche Indian Veterans Association, Lawton, OK
Head Singer: Kevin Leroy, Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, Jay OK
Master of Ceremonies: Neal Lawhead, Ottawa, Kansas City, MO
Head Man Dancer: Pat Tadooahnippah, Comanche, Lawton, OK
Head Gourd Dancer: Bruce Caesar, Sac-N-Fox/Pawnee, Anadarko, OK
Host Northern Drum: Big Soldier Crek, Potawatomi, Mayetta, KS
Arena Director: Ed Smith, Osage, St. Louis, MO
Head Lady Dancer: Amanda Proctor, Osage, Bartlesville, OK

2022-2023 American Indian Center of Springfield Princess: Nizhoni Falcon

2 pm: Gourd Dance
4:30 pm: Dinner Break
6 pm: Grand Entry

Dancing, singing and frybread. Free Admission, 50/50 raffles, native vendors. Concessions for sale. Bring a chair.

No drugs or alcohol allowed.
