Sony's The Interview to Show in Springfield, Other Locations

Sony’s The Interview, which was pulled last week but this week authorized for a smaller number of theatres to play, will appear at two venues in Springfield.

Moxie Cinema Executive Director Mike Stevens said Tuesday that his theatre will show the film on Jan. 1.

The Wehrenberg Campbell 16 Cine will show The Interview on Christmas day, the original release date of the Seth Rogen and James Franco satirical film about a plot to kill North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un.  

Sony announced this week the film will be in a number of theatres across the country on Dec. 25.
