Carillon Tolls for the Victims of Sept. 11

In remembrance of those who lost their lives in the collapse of the World Trade Center towers, the bells of the Jane A. Meyer Carillon tolled

twice on September 11th 2002, at the precise moments the towers fell exactly one year earlier:

At 928 am central time September 11th 2001, the second tower (the north tower) fell, and on September 11th 2002 at that moment, firemen across the country

sounded their sirens in honor of their fallen comrades:
