TCHD Investigates COVID-19 "Outbreak" At Branson Restaurant, Tequila's 2

Springfield-Greene County Health Department

The Taney County Health Department is investigating what it is calling a COVID-19 outbreak at a Branson business.  According to the department, there are multiple positive cases associated with the restaurant, Tequila’s 2.  The cases span three counties.  Public health officials are contacting close contacts of positive cases and asking them to quarantine.  The restaurant voluntarily closed on a temporary basis.

If you visited Tequila’s 2 from June 10 to 16, you’re asked to watch for symptoms, and contact a healthcare provider if any develop.

The Taney County Health Department recommends wearing face coverings, social distancing and staying home when sick.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Taney County rose to 33 Saturday.  And the TCHD announced these potential COVID-19 public exposures:

  • Kum and Go, Hollister – June 12, 13, 14, 16, & 17
  • Big Cedar Lodge, Shuttle – June 14, 16, & 17
  • Branson Towers – June 13 through June 16
