Health Officials Announce One More COVID-19 Presumptive Positive Case In Greene County

There’s a second presumptive positive case of COVID-19 in Greene County.  The Springfield-Greene County Health Department said Saturday the person had traveled recently but didn’t give any other details.

The Health Department said it is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to identify anyone who was possibly exposed.  Those individuals will be given guidance and monitored closely for symptoms. 

The latest case in Greene County brings the number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 in Missouri to five. 

In Missouri, 127 people have been tested for the illness caused by the novel coronavirus.  The positive cases are:  Two in St. Louis County, one in Henry County and two in Greene County.
