Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing To Be Offered At Additional Joplin Locations

Quest Diagnostics

The City of Joplin is adding three new COVID-19 drive-thru testing sites, in partnership with Walmart and Quest Diagnostics.

Starting Friday, November 12, drive-thru testing will be available at three Joplin Neighborhood Markets:  1600 E. 7th Street, 2446 S. Maiden Lane and 25145 DeMott Drive.  Hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The former site at the West 7th Street Walmart is not open this week as companies work on the relocations, according to city officials.

The sites are for anyone who is showing symptoms of COVID-19 as well as all healthcare providers and first responders, even if they don’t have symptoms.

There is no out-of-pocket cost to those who get tested, according to city officials.
