Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing To Be Offered At Additional Joplin Locations

The City of Joplin is adding three new COVID-19 drive-thru testing sites, in partnership with Walmart and Quest Diagnostics.

Starting Friday, November 12, drive-thru testing will be available at three Joplin Neighborhood Markets: 1600 E. 7^th Street, 2446 S. Maiden Lane and 25145 DeMott Drive. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The former site at the West 7^th Street Walmart is not open this week as companies work on the relocations, according to city officials.

The sites are for anyone who is showing symptoms of COVID-19 as well as all healthcare providers and first responders, even if they don’t have symptoms.

There is no out-of-pocket cost to those who get tested, according to city officials.
