The Fair Grove School District has a new superintendent. The Board of Education announced Saturday that it has hired Mike Bell to fill the vacancy.
Bell is currently the high school principal. During his 14 years with the district, he’s also been a coach, physical education instructor, and assistant principal.
Bell’s duties as superintendent will begin July 1.
Current superintendent Dr. John Link announced his resignation earlier this month to accept the top leadership post at the Jackson school district in southeast Missouri. Link will remain on the job through June.
