An expert in modern-day Iraq will be in Springfield Wednesday evening to give his perspective on the American legacy in Iraq. KSMU's Jennifer Moore caught up with him by phone.
Qubad Talabani works closely with the United States government, the media, and research institutions as an analyst about the situation in Iraq. He was one of the negotiators of Iraq’s first post-Saddam constitution, and his father, Jalal Talabani, is the president of Iraq.
Mr. Quban Talabani will speak at 7:30 p.m. on the Missouri State University campus, in the Plaster Student Union Room 313. Admission is free and open to the public.
