A hiring event this week in Springfield will feature more than 40 companies.
The Missouri Career Center, 2900 E. Sunshine, will host the Multi-Industry Hiring Event from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
Dennis Wiggins, business services supervisor with the Job Center, says it’s a great opportunity for job seekers to meet with local, regional and national companies that are looking to hire employees for a variety of positions.
Industries that will be represented at the event include health care, manufacturing, retail and more.
Those who attend should dress appropriately, take an updated resume and be ready for an interview, according to the Job Center.
