Public meetings scheduled to allow Springfield citizens to meet the top finalist for the Springfield Public Schools superintendent's position will proceed even though the district cancelled classes due to weather.

Meetings will be held from noon to 1 p.m.: Meeting Room A at Kraft Administrative Center, 1359 E. St. Louis St., and again from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., also in Meeting Room A at Kraft Administrative Center.
Dr. John Jungmann, the top finalist for the superintendent's position, will answer some questions submitted from Facebook, Twitter and in-person attendees. The community is also invited to sit in on a digital live streaming of the event at noon here.
