Getting dinner ready each night can be a struggle. You want something quick, healthy, good tasting yet that won't break the bank. Sometimes it seems those needs conflict with one another, but the Southwest Missouri Area Health Education Center is joining with the Jordan Valley Community Health Center to host a series entitled "Healthy Cooking on a Budget." Heather Phillips, dietician and health programs coordinator, explains about the importance of these free classes.
These classes, held Oct. 26 and Nov. 30 from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Jordan Valley Community Health Center, are free and open to the public. To RSVP for the Oct. 26 or Nov. 28 class, email Phillips at heather17@missouristate.edu.
