The Missouri Career Center and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will present a Career Morning recruitment event from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. KSMU’s Ryan Welch reports.
This event gives job seekers an opportunity to gain insightful information into the hiring process of area companies and speak personally with those same employers. About 13 local businesses will be represented.
The Missouri Department of Labor’s website says for the month of September, Missouri’s unemployment rate was 9.3%.
The recruitment event will be held at the Missouri Career Center, located at 1514 S. Glenstone. Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes and be dressed for an interview. It’s a free event and is open to the public.
