The Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management has released a summary of the damage impact from the recent floods.

According to GCOEM, estimated losses-to-date total $337,139.  That includes $200,000 in damage to businesses, $50,000 in road and bridge damage and $75,000 in damages at Rivercut Golf Course.  The public facilities totals also include just over $7139 for protective measures and $5000 in water damage at a maintenance shed.

There were four reports of damage to single family homes, but the dollar amount hasn’t yet been determined.

A total of three water rescues took place, and there were no fatalities or injuries.

Two horses and three cows were killed in the flood waters.

In a news release, the Office of Emergency Management says the totals reflect information submitted to GCOEM as of June 23 and “may not be all-inclusive” since it’s possible not all affected business and homeowners have reported damages.

According to the Office of Emergency Management, if citizens or business owners have damage to report, they should contact GCOEM at 869-6040.
