The new relations between the U.S. and Cuba have opened up great opportunities for travel. Two members of the League of Women Voters of Southwest Missouri recently visited Cuba on a “Sisters Across the Straits” tour, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Florida. Listen in as Ann Elwell and Kay Murnan share their experiences and first impressions of this newly accessible country. They will discuss their impressions of the Cubans’ view of the United States and the new opportunities available to the Cuban people, plus explain a few differences of life between the two countries.
