Re-accreditation granted to Missouri State University

MSU

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has granted Missouri State University full accreditation for the next ten years.

The HLC team had reviewed the school’s assurance argument and evidence file over the past four years prior to conducting an evaluation visit last October. While on campus, commission officials met with students, faculty, and staff.

The report from the commission indicates that Missouri State has met all criteria and core components for re-accreditation, and states that no interim monitoring is required. The report also emphasized how MSU functions with integrity, carries out its public affairs mission, and performs in an ethical and responsible way.

There was also a separate review of Missouri State’s recently approved Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program, which HLC found needed no interim monitoring.

The final report can be found at here as a PDF.
