Aside from the occasional ball theft, dogs of various breeds and sizes played in harmony at Fassnight Pool. This was the eleventh installment of the annual canine aquatics event, where dogs are free to roam the pool grounds or waters, many diving in and fetching balls.
Owners paid $8 for the service, with proceeds benefiting Cruse Dog Park, Springfield’s first off-leash park.
