Missouri State University is a community within the community, and there is so much going on at any given time.

The university offers innumerable opportunities for Springfieldians to visit, but the Missouri State Foundation saw a need to showcase programs, volunteer opportunities and research to those both on and off campus.

Stephanie Smith, senior director of donor relations and special events, shares about Bears in the Know.

Nicki Donnelson
Nicki received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State in marketing, in 2002 and 2004 respectively. After gaining experience in writing, marketing, special event planning, fundraising and public relations, she returned to the university to work in the office of strategic communication. There she tells the university’s story by sharing the stories of individuals at Missouri State.
