April 4 General Municipal Election

Springfield Mayor Ken McClure was re-elected for a final two-year term, after a heavily contested campaign. McClure was seen as pro-development, while challenger Melanie Bach took a pro-neighborhood stance.

The Springfield area’s top election authority says today’s general municipal election is going well, as voters headed into early evening.

In person absentee voting will be available at the Greene County Elections Center and at the Library Center.
