SoundCheck: Nicolas Cagematch gears up for a live recording

Nicolas Cagematch will be on Studio Live on Friday, April 12, 2024. Tune in at noon and join us at Mother's Brewing for Studio Live Social Hour that night from 6-8 pm.

The Springfield rock band will record the first set of their Studio Live Social Hour show for a live album. The second set will be a reprise of their Presidents of the United States of America tribute.

Jessica Gray Balisle, a Springfield native, grew up listening to KSMU. When she's not wrangling operations and compliance issues, she co-hosts live music show Studio Live and produces arts and culture stories. Jessica plays bass in local band the Hook Knives. She and her husband Todd live with their two cats, Ellie and Jean-Ralphio, and way too many house plants.
