Fayetteville-based Americana singer/songwriter Ashtyn Barbaree has earned many awards and accolades at this early point in her music career. In this episode of SoundCheck, she talks about a grant she won in 2018 that took her to Scandinavia for her first European tour.

When she's not wrangling operations and compliance issues, she co-hosts live music show Studio Live and produces arts and culture stories. Jessica plays bass in local band the Hook Knives.
