Mike Reed, an astronomer from MSU, stops in again to discuss the fundamental nature of a star's formation. As Mike puts it, "Even though we think much of what we discuss is obvious, it turns out many people are unfamiliar with what a star really is." During today's show, Mike and I will talk about how a star progresses from nothing more than gas, to the source of sustaining energy for life in the universe.
