MSU Issues Safety Bulletin About Body Found in Campus Parking Lot
The Department of Safety and Transportation at Missouri State University issued a bulletin Monday regarding a body found on a campus parking lot on Sunday. KSMU’s Theresa Bettmann has this update.
An investigation by the Springfield Police Department is currently underway regarding the body found Sunday evening in a parking lot off Elm Street. MSU’s safety department says the individual was not a student, and that there is no increased danger risk on campus.
A spokesperson for the Springfield Police Department, Matt Brown, says there are no signs of foul play. Brown says the individual’s family indicated a history of severe asthma, and they looking into whether or not that was a contributing factor to the death. For KSMU News, I’m Theresa Bettmann.
