The Nixa Public School district has the highest state achievement test score ranking in the Central Ozarks Conference. Nixa is ranked number one for Communications Arts and Math. Zach Rantz, the Communications Coordinator for Nixa schools explains that this is a great achievement for the school district considering the no child left behind law.
Nixa was also ranked first place last year for its MAP Scores. Zach Rantz describes how the district prepares students for the MAP Test.
Although, Nixa has ranked number one in MAP Scores for the last two years, Rantz describes how the Nixa district can improve.
While Nixa has the highest scores for both Communication Arts and Math, Rogersville was second highest for Math and Branson was second highest for Communication Arts.
