- The 6th Annual Cherry Blossom Kite Festival will be held tomorrow (3/28) from 11 to 3 at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden at Nathanael Greene Park in Springfield. Take your own kite or make one at the festival for $2. Admission is free.
- The Missouri State baseball team will face Oral Roberts University tonight (3/27) at 6:30, tomorrow night (3/28) at 7 and Sunday afternoon at 1 at Hammons Field. The Nature Center’s Hiking Club will hike through the Mark Twain National Forest at Noblett Lake tomorrow (3/28) from 8:30 to 5. - The Greater Ozarks Audubon Society will host a bird watching trip tomorrow (3/28) from 8 to 3 at the Schell-Osage Conservation Area. Meet at 8 am in the Lowe’s parking lot at Highway 13 and Norton Road. Take lunch, drinks and snacks. The trip is free and open to anyone, regardless of bird watching experience.
