There is a group in Springfield that does home repairs for people who are disabled or elderly.

That group, called Connections Handyman Service, is run through Council of Churches of the Ozarks and it's looking for volunteers, according to its website.

The program provides basic home repairs and home alterations for people who can’t afford them.

Volunteers are needed in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, and other home repair specialties.

If you’re interested in volunteering, Connections Handyman Service can be reached at 417-862-3586, or you can sign up to volunteer directly through the Council of Churches of the Ozarks website by clicking here.
