SPS Seeks Input on Long-Range Facility Plan

Donna Van Druten

The Springfield Public School District wants to know what you think should be included in a long-range facility plan.

It’s holding meetings later this month to get feedback as part of the SPS facility master planning process.

The district is working with MGT of America, which SPS officials say has extensive experience in developing facility master plans for educational institutions.

They say “community input and an independent assessment of schools and buildings by MGT will help SPS develop a long-range facility plan that will ensure efficient and effective use of resources.”

Meetings will be held April 26th at 5 pm at Central High School and at 7 pm at Reed Academy, April 27th at 10 am at the Kraft Administrative Center and Thursday April 28th at 6 pm at Cherokee Middle School.
