Enrollment in Springfield Public Schools continues to grow.  According to an SPS news release, official enrollment has increased for the seventh year in a row in the state's largest school district.  A total of 25,107 students are enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year.  That's an increase of 202 students from the last school year.  Elementary enrollment increased by .5 percent, middle school by 1.2 percent and high school by 1.1 percent over last year.

The Springfield School District has 1000 more students than the second largest district--St. Louis Public Schools.
