Springfield Police Ask For Public's Help Investigating Walmart Incident

City of Springfield

The Springfield Police Department continues to investigate the incident that occurred last Thursday afternoon at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on W. Republic Rd.  A man walked into the store wearing body armor and carrying weapons.  He was arrested and charged with Making a Terrorist Threat in the Second Degree.

Springfield Police say they’re “committed to ensuring a complete and thorough investigation is conducted.”

They are asking anyone who was in the store at that time and who haven’t yet had a chance to tell their story to a detective to contact them at (417) 864-1810 or email spdmail@springfieldmo.gov.
