SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Greene County authorities have charged a 22-year-old man with second-degree murder after a shooting death. Mickal Johnson is charged in the death of 42-year-old Christopher Kuder early Wednesday. Springfield police found Kuder shot in the chest and he died later at a hospital.
A probable cause statement said Johnson was in the front yard of a nearby home and a witness identified him as the shooter. Witnesses said the shooting occurred after an argument in the street involving several people. Johnson is being held in the Greene County Jail. Online court records don't list an attorney for him.
