The Missouri Job Center Ozark Region and the American Legion Goad-Ballinger Post 69 will host the Veterans Job Fair Thursday, October 22.  It will be a drive-through event to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot between American Legion Post 69, 149 Memorial Plaza, and Jordan Valley Ice Park, 635 E. Trafficway, in downtown Springfield.

The drive-through job fair is open to all veterans, transitioning service members, reservists, National Guard, military spouses and family members and the general public, according to the Missouri Job Center.  Masks are required.

Participating employers will include:  CoxHealth, Springfield Police Department, Greene County Office of Emergency Management, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Buckhorn, Securitas, Red Monkey Foods, Vital Farms, Promoveo, Poor Boy Tree Service, US Navy Recruiting and US Army Recruiting.

Veteran’s Upward Bound and American Legion Post 69 will have resource booths set up at the event.
