CPO Works to Improve Local Communities

CPO

Ilga Vise talks with Janet Dankert, executive director of Community Partnership of the Ozarks.

The CPO's mission is "to facilitate and promote resilient children, healthy families and strong neighborhoods and communities through collaboration, programming and resource development."

The organization was established in 1998 as a result of combining two other groups:  Ozarks Fighting Back and the Community Task Force.  It offers a variety of programs and services in 21 counties.

Dankert says they served more than 96,000 people last year with the help of volunteers.
