The Springfield-Greene County Health Department has confirmed 12 flu cases in the first two weeks of the 2018-2019 flu season.

The health department says it’s seeing flu cases a bit earlier than expected.

According to experts, getting the flu vaccine by the end of October will give you the best possible protection from the flu virus.
