A few hundred advocates for Medicaid expansion disrupted Missouri's statehouse Thursday has they marched along the statehouse hallways singing and chanting. Phill Brooks has more from Jefferson City.

The Missouri House continued business as normal, but the loud protests forced the Senate to delay its session for about an hour until the protesters had left. Expansion of Medicaid healthcare coverage for persons with higher incomes has met with stiff opposition within the Republican-controlled legislature. Just last week, the idea was defeated decisively in the House.
