Springfield resident and veteran Jack Hembree is at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. KSMU's Missy Shelton spoke with him this afternoon about how the work he's doing at the convention.
This is the first national political convention that Jack Hembree has ever experienced in person. And he's jumped right in as a volunteer.
Hembree says with the high-profile speech last night from Senator Hillary Clinton, there were large crowds of people trying to find seats. He says he and the other volunteers received some outside help.
Hembree says he expects tonight be just as crowded as last night, maybe more so.
