Governor-elect Matt Blunt announced three appointments Tuesday. KSMU's Missy Shelton reports.

GOVERNOR-ELECT MATT BLUNT NAMED TRISH VINCENT AS THE DIRECTOR OF THE REVENUE DEPARTMENT.

BLUNT APPOINTED JEFF DAVIS TO BE CHAIR OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.

AND BLUNT CHOSE CHUCK PRYOR TO BE HIS LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR.

PRYOR HAS SERVED AS A STATE REPRESENTATIVE BUT FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS, HE'S BEEN WORKING FOR BLUNT AS THE LEGISLATIVE LIAISON IN THE SECRETARY OF STATE'S OFFICE.

PRYOR EXPLAINS WHAT HE'LL BE DOING AS LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE GOVERNOR.

AS THE LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR FOR BLUNT, A REPUBLICAN, PRYOR WILL BE WORKING WITH THE REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED HOUSE AND SENATE.

PRYOR SAYS THAT MAKES HIS JOB EASIER.

THE FOUNDATION FORMULA IS THE MECHANISM THAT'S USED TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH STATE FUNDING SCHOOL DISTRICTS RECEIVE.

MORE THAN 200 SCHOOL DISTRICTS HAVE FILED SUIT, CLAIMING THE FORMULA DOESN'T DISTRIBUTE THE MONEY IN A FAIR WAY AND THE STATE DOESN'T GIVE SCHOOLS ENOUGH MONEY.

PRYOR SAYS BLUNT IS INTERESTED IN CHANGING THE SCHOOL FUNDING FORMULA.

MATT BLUNT WILL BE INAUGURATED ON JANUARY 10TH.
