Eddie Gumucio
Host, Beneath the SurfaceEddie Gumucio has been a professional singer and songwriter for the last 22 years. As a veteran performer, he has recorded four albums, three EPs and toured extensively across the U.S.
He was previously a DJ intern at KSMU in college and one of the original line up of DJ's on KTOZ The Planet and KOSP. A supporter of the local/regional music scene, Gumucio is the founder and organizer of the annual Queen City Shout music series, now in its 8th year.
Beyond music, Gumucio is a part of the World Language department at Springfield Public Schools.
Raised in La Paz, Bolivia, Gumucio is a travel enthusiast and enjoys exploring the Ozarks with his family.
