Fire investigators have determined that fire at a propane facility in Marshfield last week was accidental.
The fire at the Kosan Crisplant Missouri Inc. propane facility on May 13 started outdoors near a loading dock in an area where small propane cylinders were prepared for reconditioning, according to the Missouri Division of Fire Safety. The initial fire led to numerous cylinders exploding.
Investigators believe the fire was caused by a spark when a cylinder was dropped, and that ignited propane.
