Potential Public Exposure To COVID-19 In Springfield

Michele Skalicky

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is notifying the public of a potential community exposure from a person who tested positive for COVID-19.

Prior to being diagnosed, the individual went to Walgreens, 2640 E. Sunshine around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 22.  They were infectious and symptomatic and wore a mask.

Anyone who was at this location on this date is at low risk for contracting COVID-19, according to the heatlh department, but should monitor for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless symptoms develop, they said.
