Jasper County Health Department Announces 1st COVID-19 Death

Jasper County has its first death from COVID-19. According to the Jasper County Health Department, the person who died was a man in his 70s. The department is urging everyone to take precautions to prevent the spread of the illness. Those include social distancing, washing your hands, covering coughs and sneezes and staying home if you’re sick.
