Greene County Clerk Working To Protect Voters' Safety Amid COVID-19

Municipal elections are Tuesday, June 2, and the Greene County clerk said he’s taken steps to protect voters’ safety during the pandemic.

Shane Schoeller said poll workers will sanitize voting booth table surfaces.  His office will also provide gloves for voters to use while operating touchscreen voting equipment.  Pens will be sanitized and there will be plexiglass sneezeguards at each check-in station. Election judges will wear personal protective equipment.  Voters are encouraged to take their own pens and to wash their hands before and after voting.

Several cities in Greene County have races and issues on the ballot Tuesday.
