July 4, 2018 Holiday MSHP Statistics Released

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said three people were killed in traffic accidents on the state's highways over the Independence Day holiday period.  There were 59 injuries, 40 DWI arrests adn 38 drug arrests.

Two people drowned in Missouri lakes during the period from 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, July 4.  There were five boating crashes with two injuries.  Three boating while intoxicated arrests were made and eight drug arrests on the state's waters.
